Apple का 2026 का बड़ा “Surprise and shine” event अब पूरा हो चुका है और कंपनी ने इस बार कई बड़े hardware upgrades पेश किए हैं। सबसे बड़ा surprise रहा Apple का पहला foldable smartphone iPhone Duo। इसके साथ iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 और AirPods 5 भी लॉन्च हुए।

Apple ने 9 सितंबर 2026 के event में अपनी नई Pro iPhone generation के साथ पहली बार foldable iPhone category में entry की। iPhone 18 Pro और iPhone 18 Pro Max नए A20 Pro chip, variable-aperture camera और बेहतर battery life के साथ आए। इसके अलावा Apple ने iPhone Duo, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 और AirPods 5 पेश किए। Standard iPhone 18 इस event का हिस्सा नहीं था।

iPhone 18 Pro इस event के मुख्य smartphones में से एक है। इसका सबसे बड़ा camera upgrade है 48MP Fusion Main camera में variable aperture। पहली बार iPhone में aperture को hardware के जरिए बदला जा सकता है—ƒ/1.48, ƒ/1.8, ƒ/2.8 और ƒ/4 जैसे settings के साथ। फोन में नया A20 Pro chip 2nm process पर आधारित है। Apple के मुताबिक इसका 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU और Dual 16-core Neural Engine पिछले generation की तुलना में performance और on-device AI को काफी आगे ले जाते हैं।

iPhone 18 Pro Max Pro lineup का सबसे बड़ा model है। Apple ने इसे battery life के मामले में अब तक का सबसे बड़ा jump बताया है। eSIM-only configuration में यह 45 घंटे तक video playback दे सकता है। इसमें भी A20 Pro chip, variable-aperture 48MP Fusion Main camera, 48MP Ultra Wide और 48MP Telephoto setup मिलता है। Pro Max की पहचान बड़ा 6.9-inch display और ज्यादा battery endurance है।

iPhone 18 Pro generation का सबसे बड़ा photography upgrade variable aperture है। 48MP Fusion Main camera में छह laser-cut blades aperture को अलग-अलग levels पर adjust कर सकती हैं। Apple ने ƒ/1.48 से ƒ/4 तक aperture options दिए हैं। इससे low-light photography में ज्यादा light और portrait या group photos में ज्यादा depth control मिल सकता है। Camera app में अब shutter speed, white balance, aperture और histogram जैसे Pro Controls भी हैं। एक और बड़ा Feature Apple Reference Image camera sensor से signed reference image बनाता है, जिससे original capture और edited image के बीच authenticity verify करने में मदद मिलती है। यह खासकर journalism और professional photography के लिए महत्वपूर्ण feature है।

iPhone Duo में 48MP Fusion Main + 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera system है। Main camera में optical-quality 2x Telephoto capability भी मिलती है। Foldable design की वजह से Apple ने camera experience में नए features जोड़े हैं, जैसे Duo Preview, Smart Take, Dual Capture और Duo FaceTime। Battery architecture भी अलग है। फोन के दोनों हिस्सों में high-energy batteries हैं जो software और energy-balancing system के जरिए एक unit की तरह काम करती हैं।

Apple Watch Series 12 में नया Health Sensing System और S11 chip दिया गया है। Apple के मुताबिक यह wearable में अब तक का सबसे accurate heart-rate sensing system देता है। नई watch heart rate को हर 5 seconds में measure कर सकती है और higher-frequency HRV measurements के आधार पर नया Readiness Score देती है। यह recent activity, training load, vitals और sleep score को analyze करके दिन के लिए body readiness का संकेत देती है।

Apple ने AirPods 5 को open-ear design के साथ पेश किया है और इस बार सबसे बड़ा upgrade है Active Noise Cancellation। Apple के मुताबिक AirPods 5 में previous AirPods 4 ANC version की तुलना में up to 1.5x ज्यादा ANC मिलता है। इनमें नया multiport acoustic architecture, next-generation Adaptive EQ, Transparency mode, Personalized Spatial Audio, Live Translation और Siri AI support दिया गया है।
